Michelle Ebanks has served as the City of Cedar Hill’s Destination Manager since October 2024, building on years of dedicated service since joining the City in 2016. With a strong focus on place-making and community engagement, she partners with the City Council–appointed Destination Advisory Board to drive downtown revitalization through strategic grants and beautification efforts. Her leadership plays a key role in shaping Cedar Hill’s identity as a vibrant and connected community.

Ebanks has launched and led numerous initiatives that build civic pride and strengthen local connections, including the Citizens Leadership Academy, Community Flag Program, Veterans Resource Fair, and the beloved annual Street Dance. She also helps coordinate welcome tours for new residents and manages the Good Samaritan Program, which recognizes everyday acts of kindness and service. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Michelle brings a deep commitment to public service. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Arts from American Military University and earned her IOM designation through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s four-year Institute for Organization Management.
