Discover 2,800 acres of nature at Cedar Hill’s Great Greenway

DALLAS (KDAF) — Cedar Hill’s Great Greenway is a beautiful place to get outdoors, offering 2,800 acres of natural landscapes to enjoy. Michelle Ebanks, Destination Manager for Visit Cedar Hill, shares more.

“Think of it as DFW’s outdoor district,” Ebanks said. “The Great Greenway has seven parks, over 35 miles of trail, you can come hike it, bike it. Just be outdoors. If you want to take a break, it’s the perfect spot.”

Located about 20 minutes southwest of Dallas, the Great Greenway has lakes, hills, parks, trails and more, making it the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature.

“This is for everybody,” Ebanks said. “That’s what makes this district so special. You can spend an hour or a full day out here, you can go for a hike, take a short walk with the kids, bring a picnic basket, do some birdwatching. It’s really a choose-your-own adventure kind of place.”
