Established in 1994, the program has grown its annual revenue from $150,000 to nearly $4 million, fueling business-friendly initiatives and infrastructure development. Recognized nationally for its commitment to excellence, Cedar Hill Economic Development has earned accreditation from the International Economic Development Council and multiple awards for workforce innovation and economic leadership. The board and staff work together with allies inside and outside City Government to implement its strategy and make great things happen for Cedar Hill.

Board Meeting Schedule

The board typically meets on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m., with special meetings called as needed. Sessions are conducted, unless otherwise announced, in the Economic Development Conference Room on the 4th floor of the Cedar Hill Government Center at 285 Uptown Blvd, Building 100, Cedar Hill, Texas, 75104. Meeting agendas are posted at the entrance of the Cedar Hill Government Center at least 72 hours before the start of the meeting. All meetings are open to the public
